I love teaching and am excited to welcome the class of 2013-2014! I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo. This is my seventeenth year of teaching. Thirteen of my teaching years have been at Addison Elementary where it has been my privilege to work with third and fourth grade students. Each year has allowed me to grow and learn as a teacher. I love seeing my students' excitement when they learn a new math strategy, discover something that truly interests them, or enjoy sharing their ideas through written expression. I look forward to helping your children reach their goals of growing, leading, and succeeding!
My husband, Dale, and I live in Roswell. We have three adult children who have begun their careers as a United States Marine, a pharmaceutical sales representative, and a pediatrician. We welcomed our first grandchild last September and are thrilled to be grandparents to a precious little boy! I enjoy reading, visiting with friends, home decorating, boating, and spending time at our lake house in Alabama.
